Using the latest technical information and tests by a well respected engineer in this field, we have produced a hand fabricated 'A' arm assembly so that we could obtain the steering geometry we wanted, a restriction of using donor car components. Using a longer adjustable front coil over shock than other manufacturers has allowed better wheel control and selection of springs, allowing a ride height for every occasion. Our coil over shocks feature both ride height adjustment & dampening adjustment.
Rear
The Rear suspension also features coil over shocks on all rear-end configurations, which like the front has ride height & dampening adjustments.
Four rear-end (differential) choices are offered:
Nissan Skyline R32 Independent
Fabricated Independent
Commodore Live Axle
Ford 9” Live Axle
Nissan Skyline R32
First is the independent suspension and drive assembly from the celebrated Nissan Skyline R32 (Godzilla) model. It’s exceptional strength and smoothness is due to the R200 Nissan Centre combined with C.V. Joint drive shafts. This unit was not only selected for its exceptional performance & low purchase price, but also availability of both the unit itself and spare parts. This is our most popular rear-end choice.
The R32 rear-end comes standard with:
Viscous LSD.
4.3:1 ratio (other ratios are available)
297mm ventilated rotors
2 piston alloy calipers.
Lower 'A' arm and two upper linkage arms for super stability.
Camber and Toe-in Adjustment
Fabricated Independent
This rear-end is supplied for buyers wanting a premium rear-end with the capability for deep offset wheels or deep offset pin-drive wheels.
Features:
Reduction in both sprung & unsprung weight.
CNC machined aluminium uprights
Fabricated tubular A arms
Fabricated CV joints
Option of Commodore or Ford 9” diff centre.
Commodore rotors & calipers.
Commodore/Ford 9” Live Axle
We can offer both Commodore and Ford 9” live axles. Both live axles are fitted with our own laser cut mounting brackets. Connection to the chassis is via four (4) straight bars which are fitted with left and right handed threaded joints with a composite bushing for ride quality and durability. To ensure the axle rides true, a Watts Linkage system is employed again with adjustment and composite bushing. The threads being left and right handed threads allow quick and easy alignment of the diff and pinion angles, a most important and usually overlooked part of a live axle. The Ford 9” rear-end is only supplied in shortened form, the Commodore rear-end can be supplied in either shortened or non-shortened.
